We invite everyone to join us August 9th,10th,11th, 2019 for the 24rd annual Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow wow. What a special year for us as we bring our historical event to the primitive setting in Morsches Park, Columbia City, along the banks of the Blue River. We celebrate our Native American heritage and
offer a glimpse into the past, as our ancestors played an important part in forming the history of Indiana.
We offer Native American products of art, food and crafts for purchase. Friday evening we will open at 5pm with Soarin’Hawk Raptors demonstration from 6 pm to 8pm. . A silent auction will be held from 5pm to 9 pm and continued on Saturday from 10am to 7pm. All vendors will be open. A Miami Stomp Dance will be held at 7:00 pm -8:00pm Saturday gates open at 10am to 9pm. Soarin’ Hawk Raptors will have a demonstration 10 am to 12 noon. In the family tent, we will have a beading demonstration from 2pm to 3 pm. . Grand Entry dancing is at 1 pm and 6:30 pm. Sunday is Children’s Day from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Art, crafts,, stories and games. . Grand Entry dancing is from 12 noon to 4 pm. Free Parking-Handicap Parking. Admission is $4.00 and children under 12 are free. This is a family event, no drugs, alcohol and sorry no pets.
