SUMMER HELP WANTED
Summer concession workers are needed (starting in April) for Morsches Park (City of Columbia City). Must be able to work evenings and weekends; day shifts begin during baseball/softball season. Applications can be obtained at the Clerk-Treasurers office 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Mon.-Friday or Communications (24 hours) both located at City Hall 112 S. Chauncey Street. Columbia City Police Department is accepting applications for full time police officers.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and not older than 39 years of age.
Applicants must also possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Indiana Driver’s License, must pass a criminal background check, and pass a physical agility test and written test.

Physical Agility Standards
Each applicant will be required to perform, at a minimum, the following standards:
Vertical Jump – 16 Inches
One Minute Sit-ups – 29
300 Meter Run – 71 Seconds
Maximum Push-ups – 25
1.5 Mile Run – 16 Minutes 28 Seconds
Each applicant will be required to perform an obstacle course including by not limited to a dummy drag and vehicle push.
